13:23 "For some reason this gives us more pumps from the piston". The reason is that a powered block doesn't reduce the power level, whereas redstone dust does. The block makes the power level drop more slowly, so the circuit keeps running longer.

If you’re looking for any new tutorial ideas use the hopper system that does six and make two Over the walls that have one by two holes in the middle with the fence gates and you can use it as a secret door

I can’t get mine to rotate twice, I can’t figure it out, it’s been a while since the vid was uploaded so I tested it out on my testing world before porting it to my survival world and for some reason I’m not getting the three pumps I’m only getting two??

Same, made one a year ago that still does 3 pumps. Did the same exact thing on a friends realm and only two, tried using every type of wood button. F*cking minecraft :/

Nvm I fixed it, did you by chance try to move the position of the button? I put mine 1 block higher and wired accordingly but somehow that messed it up. Changed back and working perfectly

Any idea why this seems to still work on the season 0 world download but i cannot seem to get it to work properly when i rebuild it. I get random them in a random order instead of what i want the wall to display. I know its too years later but any help would be greatly appreciated

Moi j'ai eu des petits problèmes, je me suis entre ôtre aperçu que j'avais les mauvais pistons,tout remplacer...et la pour le système du boutons 3 temps ...ca ne marche pas meme si je fais tout comme toi..j'ai tout modifier ...jai une rangée de 8 coffre de long et 6 de haut ...mon bouton baisse a coup de un ...jai accès à tout mes coffres ...pour ceux comme moi qui en veulent plus ...sur le long 8 est le max ...peut être si on met un répéteur quelques parts ca ira..voila merci pour les idée et le systeme ...je n ai que modifier et améliorer

Edit: I don't know why, but after about 20 uses the right side is moving just 2 down. Left and middle are moving 3 down... Don't know why, I checked the ticks and everything else. Maybe it's because ps4 redstone is a little different, or broke/buggy, or it's me.

You can place as many as you’d like going sideways. Going up will mess things up since the circuit pushes the pistons 3 times...unless you don’t mind your chests being off when it rotates back around.

I’m glad you were able to fix it! No worries, it happens 😄 I mess up on timings too sometimes haha. Also, Bedrock is known for redstone not working sometimes. Sometimes you can just break a repeater or something and replace and the build will work fine. Don’t ask why, but it happens 🤷🏻‍♂️ Thanks for watching!

Interesting. The only think I could think of that would throw the timings off are the repeaters under the build going into the pistons facing up. Maybe one is set to a different tick to the others? I know you said you checked it, but that’s the only thing I could imagine throwing anything off. Even when I have lag on the Truly Bedrock realm everything works, slower, but still works. And thanks! @@RogueFox I appreciate your reply. Hmm. I'll go back and look again. It wouldn't be the first time I thought I had it set properly, but didn't. Let's number the columns, left to right, A, B, and C. Most often column C will fail to advance three times. But A and B also fail, sometimes. Yes, I'm slowly advancing my Redstone knowledge thanks mostly to your tutorials. But these timing things drive me crazy.

Hmm, it could be the comparator setup also. That’s the only other thing I can think of, but it wouldn’t explain why it would fire A, B, or C differently 🤔 I’m glad my redstone tutorials have helped you out! 😄

@@RogueFox Many thanks for trying to help me figure this out! Ok, so I went back and removed the blocks that fed the signal into the repeaters on the bottom and replaced them with Redstone dust. In the process of doing that I had to remove some of the other bits, that included the comparator. I also removed and replaced the repeaters, just because. And it seems to be working now. Everything seems to be where it is supposed to be. Although it is more difficult to tell as I removed the wall blocks and replaced them with chests. With the wall blocks I had clear visual cues when it miss fired. It's a testament to your vids that I made this build for the first time in a hard survival world!

Multiple years since i found this and 10 months since last comment STILL LOVE THIS STORAGE SYSTEM and i forgot abt tht timing circuit tutorial at the end. I saw it just as i was thinking and wondering about messing with timing myself! I noted everything down and all. I used thr new cherry wood in it and my design uses both chests and barrels to make designs in the wall! I use an all barrell design instead of the hidey wall. So it looks solid unlike chests and nobody realizes it can move until i show them. Then i did a tiny t pyramid pattern with barrels and upside down u pattern for the chests. and then a big T like teen titans made of chests with backwards barrels. It makes for fun design and breaks up monotony and also makes it easier to remember which set of three had something ur looking for if u just remember the design
