I love that Kevin is stumped when building the second story of his house, placing the ladder outside. Yet he could simply place the ladder on the inside opposite the crafting table etc.

No but it he did that then when he got to the top of the ladder he'd have to step on to the block to the side of his path. He needs to stay straight so the only way that would happen is if he built a ladder facing the same direction as his path

Some tips if you decide to continue this: 1. Kill spiders at night to get string. Can be made into wool or use to make fishing poles. Fishing will get you food and items. 2. Carry wheat to lure cows/sheep, carry carrots to lure pigs, carry seeds to lure chickens 3. Put your bed/crafting blocks in the ground to save room 4. If you have a chance kill slimes, can be used to make leads to drag animals to you
