Just so you know in java edition you can only here the cave sounds in the end and caves, in the nether it will play it's own mood ambience, but in bedrock edition you can here it outside of caves, anywhere in the end but not in the nether, also because it has its own mood ambience.

I've never actually heard the new cave sounds, I only heard up to 20, at first for some reason I thought number 14 was only heard in the end because I thought it matched with the glitchy sound you here when you kill the dragon, from now on 17 is my biggest threat. when I here one of these new sounds, I will get a new threat. And when I played 1.15, I didn't know what cave sound were, totally unaware of them. And 21 sounds like someone just destroyed their window, 23 sounds like heaven, and thirty sounds like someone blowing a giant instrument.

1:10 Keep in mind that's what I got to hear when playing Minecraft on Graveyard mod 1.18.1 facing a hideous revenant and skeleton creeper in the dark of the caves! A sound really warning me of an eerie hostile entity presence nearby though some are already in front me! What a moment!

I was playing minecraft in a new world at the time. I was mining an oak tree next to a massive cave entrance when all of a sudden I heard a scream from the cave saying "ĤÉŁP MÉ". I went to look for the 'mob' when as I got halfway down I heard some distorted portal sounds coming from inside the walls. I ran back up to the surface in a panic as the sound of whatever was behind me got louder. I leave the area and go to find a village when the same sounds started coming from behind me. I did find a village after that.

Cave 23 , 24 and 26 are more like a mirage , you feel like you will manage to escape the cave and get back to the overworld , but you're still in the cave , desperately looking for a exit. Cave 25 and 27 are when the imagination ends for a second , sending you back in the darkness of the caves. Cave 30 describes that , you think you're almost out of the cave , moving non-stop , thinking you'll finally do it , but actually.. You are stuck in the cave , with a single torch , low health and food and hungry , as the last note plays describing you're there forever.
