With the use of the command /player [AltIGN] shadow, it *is* possible to turn your alt into a bot, removing the reliability issues; however an alt would still need to be employed to make shadow item transfer possible.

Feverishly trying to reverse engineer this design because despite being a prototype it is also somehow the only design I've managed to dig up that works both with pistons and in 1.20+. Found plenty that are faster, but they all break as soon as you start feeding pistons into them.

Have you tried using the carpet command /player [name] shadow By doing this trick you affecively just gave the shadow items to the bot, (by making yourself (or alt) the bot) And kick your client from the server, but your mc account is still online.

cool concept you can by the way can use /player commands to a non bot player i made setup that use shadow and instant falling and TNT duper to brake eggs i use it for way over million bedrock and did not miss an egg

Very Nice concept. I know it would be cheating But im thinking of the alternative to just use a bot in creative like you did. When it’s done just count the blocks placed with some simple math. And you could craft these and throw them into lava. I just don’t fancy running my computer all night for a week.
