@@jkwolf2 if you use bone meal on moss, then compost all the stuff you get, you will profit in bonemeal each time. Then you can use the bonemeal on your wheat or whatever else you want.

You can put a carpet on a fence and you will be able to jump the fence. That way you don't have to worry about anything escaping when you open your gate.

Some of the vanilla features are pretty powerful for early game modded. Using the gravel and dirt to make coarse dirt gets one more dirt by using a hoe on the coarse dirt. If the composters in the village still work in the pack that's infinite bonemeal from a simple cobblestone plus moss farm. Sadly, he let the raid wipe the village or he'd be able to trade for emeralds to easily upgrade to the next steps.

i think the best crop for seed is mellon... i use it and never run out of seed! you can even automate it later! 3:40 you can get grass by bonmeal moss then use shear! (i comment as i watch, so these might already solved after a few min) you can use iron mesh to make the strainer. also you can use a full block of menril to get a full block of redstone! 34:44 you should use resource generator to automate cobble stone and stone just incase you need more in the future. 40:30 instead of tank i think the fluid drawer is much better since you can upgrade it and it hold much more fluid. when you have access to emeral.

Could also be a way to get them through the mods, always check JEI for any questions on getting stuff in modpacks. Idk about mod ways though since I haven't played this specific modpack myself and it clearly is very customised, so even knowing the mods you don't necessarily know how to get everything

I wonder if you can put the water from the "Purified Water Bottle" in a cauldron 3 times, to get a Purified water Bucket. You could use that in the cantine to always have clean water on a side note: F3 + h = to see durability

You can use purifying salt (see JEI) on a mulch block for a bucket of purified water.

So someone suggested watermelon for your seeds, since you don't have melon yet use the tomato seeds. The seed doesn't require you to re-plant, just a right click. Also once you get 10/10/10 regular chickens I have been using them to get bonemeal, since I haven't seen any bonemeal chickens in the Eroded Badlands or Badlands at all. Use the cutting board to chop up your dead chickens to get the bonemeal.

Also his point about potentially getting a 10/10/10 chicken by breeding two 10/10/10 together is wrong, two 10/10/10 chickens will always make a 10/10/10 chick as the stats can't roll back to lower ones.

if you can find dripstone in the caves you can use that to make a vanilla infinite lava source with a cauldron so you do not have to worry about lava anymore and if you make it big enough you can use it as fuel instead of coal since one bucket of lava smelts 100 items

I noticed the redstone clock from opolis utilities gives a LONG pulde, which is useful! Many redstone clocks give a ticklong pulse, which is great for redputer shennanigans but not so great for many world interactions like doors and pistons.

if you're gonna do chickens for resources it's best to use the breeder block and the roost block (you'll need a chicken chaser to turn chickens into items though) guaranteed stat bonus to the next chicken and you can contain it within the space of one block resource generation or otherwise. downside is it'll cost wheat to make the blocks

Ben actually came on to Isaac's stream one day, and clarified a question Isaac asked chat while trying to figure something out... and then started routinely watching Isaac stream on twitch when he was playing Ben's packs, and will frequently hotfix bugs or substantially unbalanced progression issues that Isaac finds (it's sometimes hard to fully appreciate a pack's progression path from a "figure it out as you go" new player's perspective when you build the entire thing from start to finish😂). I think if you break the wheat with the hoe and not your fist, it will retain the planted crop. I could be wrong though. What pains me the most is watching you advance so far without a proper base structure. Stuff is just scattered everywhere and starting to pour outside the silly cactus fence. Doesn't one of the stone variants produce coal automatically without having to use chickens? Instead of the lapis/iron setup?

the terracotta blocks give coal, clay, copper but you have to mine the blocks as they arent produced by the resource generator.
