Bdubs here's a tip: if you like the ambient noises of the Pale Garden, its actually tied to the hanging pale moss so you can hang it in your base and get the noises.

You can use the placed resin clumps on leaves to make fruit trees, or place it on the ground as pollen, or as fallen leaves for a fall scene.

In my opinion the forest could use some younger and smaller trees. The forest shouldn't get too dense of course, but it would look a bit more natural if you threw some smaller trees in as well in my opinion.

ive felt the same thing but in Minecraft, its very difficult to make a small tree that fits the vibe I'm going for. the smaller trees detracted from the feeling I want. so for now I feel like its been a good decision to omit them

This video might be one of my favourites of yours. Your editing style only continues to get incrementally better, of course, but the little sprinkle on this cupcake was using Aria Math.. having it edited in so it follows seamlessly from scene to scene, and that little dose of nostalgia it offers, it was genuinely so beautiful. The little stream in your cave was another highlight. The absolute loving detail you had to put the grate there! Thank you for that.

My daughter introduced me to Hermits and the life series a couple/few months ago. Since then I’ve watch all the life series from nearly every POV. I started to really like some of the YTers a lot, but it wasn’t until I started watching Hermitcraft that I was truly won over by the magic that is BDubs. Your videos really are magical. @robbieferrari2049 Thank you. I hope that you do as well. I’ve lived in Australia for ten years now and I still can’t get used to summer Christmas. It’s going to be over 100F for the next two days. Wish my family and I were back in Minnesota sipping hot cocoa in front of the fireplace, at least for a couple of weeks. :-)

good choice to watch hermitcraft. the most fun, for me personal, are docm77, bdouble0, perlescentmoon, scar, grian & mumbo. if you have more time, i would also suggest rendog, cub, xisuma, keralis, tango, etho, impulse, zedaph. when i have time, i watch all hermits, but if i have less time in some weeks/months, i sometimes skip the ones i didn´t especially mention here. first i always watch doc, gotta love the mad scientist ^_^

I’m ignoring the videos covering things that delude the HermitCraft experience, mostly because it’s slowly killing the server. More and more hermits has stopped regular posting of videos. I blame Iskall as he started this trend, but at the same time has the seasons gotten longer and longer (?}. Maybe they should cut the seasons up in shorter time frames, say 4 month and then a pause for other content for 4 month and then 4 new month? 3 months might work too, but during that time you have to spend time on the server and not go AWOL … Well, just a thought …

The “colors” area of your storage is my favorite!! The blocks you chose meld together into a subtle but bright gradient and it brings a bit of warmth to the otherwise damp storage area. Brings a good balance in the build!!

Yeah, the new music doesn't feel the same. It doesn't fit the vibe Bdubs is going for either. It's good music but it's not quiet, gentle Minecraft, it's more adventure and paced. I wish they brought C418 back on but since it's Microsoft now they wanted him to give up the music rights, whereas the original Mojang let him release the soundtrack CD's as his own work. Dragon Fish was his last great hurrah on the soundtrack.

I know this probably doesn’t matter to most people, but I love how reminiscent of the geography of earth in DBZ the mountains are. The dragon ball earth is littered with these huge pillar mountains you’ve build are, like those found in zhangjiajie in real life, and it’s oddly nostalgic.

Liked the chillness of this episode. You can make more creaking hearts with the resin blocks and 2 pale oak logs or you can smelt down the resin clumps into resin bricks to make the resin brick blocks

34:56 It is a very niche use, but I can definitely see these leaves being used to add highlights to tree builds (kinda like reducing the contrast on the rock to make it look farther away). I can also see myself using these to mimic frosted leaves, or to create an 'ash' effect from a fireplace or a forest fire. Very neat block! Your vids are definitely inspiring me to get back on the game and scratch that building itch again.

Bdubs has grown so much over the past 10 years. From a regular great builder to something else… I can’t think of a single builder who even come close to this level of artistry! Naturally Hermitcraft have some of the best builders on the platform like Pearl, Tango, Scar and Keralis, but there is just something about Bdubs’s skills with color theory, realism and unorthodox buildint styles that truly makes him stand out..

I love Bduds' base so much because it is so similar to how I often build my base every time, subtle terraforming and multiple small builds all around. He also inspires me to work with rock formation and custom trees, which helps a lot filling out the blank space in my landscaping.
