If you are doing the shelves in the kitchen it wont let you put stuff on the trap doors, what i did was put slabs in the three corners, put the plants and chest on those, and if you have candles, then break the trap door, put regular planks, put the candles, break the planks and then put the trap door back under the candles. They will float so you can just put the trapdoors back. And for the upstairs as well, I just put candles on one of them. The lantern on the other side lit up the room enough for me, but you can always add side tables with a lantern if you want :)

I like that you do your tutorials in survival mode. Too many do them in creative mode and makes it that much more daunting to think about building it myself in survival! Your builds seem very doable and are easy to follow and very cute!

I just think that Mojang should make this leaf color change system by biome official, for example, in Trunda this color scheme for oak and eucalyptus leaves could be placed, since the two species of trees do not occur in this biome - Not disturbing the original look.
