I’m a shiny hunter so this was super exciting to see, but I needed to make sure that breeding for it was possible on bedrock. Also on bedrock you can breed the axolotls every one minute while it’s 5 min on java Edit: So before watching this I was breeding with yellow ones but after watching I decided to add some brown ones to the mix to try out your theory and I actually got one not too long afterwards.

Question, do I just need to breed up to 1200+ Axolotl's to get a rare blue Axolotl? or do I need to have over 1200+ Axolotl's in my minecraft world all at once for one of them to be a blue Axolotl?

The 1/1200 is just the chance that a baby born will be blue, you could get it in 10 breeds or 2000 its all luck. I bred more than 1200 personally. I hope you're luckier than me!

@@SamDeCam1 One more thing, sometimes when I have to many Axolotl's in my minecraft world, my game starts to lag very badly, does killing them effect the chances of a blue one spawning in anyway? and btw I've subscribed to your channel and liked your video! hope it helps out in the long run! :)
