Minecraft's Fastest Way to Travel in 1.16

In this video, we take a look at something that has been went over quite a lot by others, but 99% of the time gotten wrong, the fastest way to travel in Minecraft. No, not cheating, nor dying. Or the combination of Soul Speed, Depth Strider, Dolphin's Grace and Speed II. The fastest travelling method is one many of you might not know, and I hope you learned something new from this video.

Bud, ender pearl cannons require you to load all the chunks that the pearl is gonna go through. So if you want to travel 2m blocks per second with this method, you're gonna need to permaload 375k chunks in the same dimension and the respective quantity in the other dimension, as portal chunk loading is way too slow

Piston bolt can go up to 20 b/s straight and 28 diagonally (*8 nether) I don't know where u got these insane nubers from but piston bolts are just slow also ender pearl/tnt canon needs chunk loaders

The thing about the Ender Pearl Stasis Chamber is I can really only see it as a sort of life preserver or emergency use for dangerous life threatening situations. For example lets say you are fighting the ender dragon. An Ender Pearl Statis Chamber (EPSC) could be built right outside the portal room, and could be used and manned by someone dedicated to throwing you that life preserver when you are in danger. Lets say the dragon hits you off the island into the void, your friend could hit the lever (if you had thrown the pearl in prior of course), and rescue you from that situation. Or maybe you are fighting a group of people on a multiplayer server, (idk factions?), you could use the EPSC to teleport you back to base in the event of near death, or perhaps, if your base was being raided. The down side of course is you couldn't use sny ender pearls in the mean time, but it would work well.

The problem with considering Ender Pearl Stasis as a method of travel is that it really isn't. Its more or less a mechanic that could be grouped in with more of methods of rescue of another player, or maybe a method to travel back to base if you know you are heading far away for a journey to get an item etc. The downside of course is that the base would have to be manned (you would need someone present to flick the lever on demand), or use a very long timer (which would quickly become impractical). Another potential for EPS (ender pearl stasis) is maybe using a flying machine and sending it off in a direction, maybe with a built in red stone clock or another account that could manually flick the lever once it has arrived to its destination.

The stasis chamber is the safest instant travel method Moving through unloaded chunks always carry’s the risk of dropping to the void. Or falling 1 block and insta death from fall damage 😂😂🤦‍♂️

Just a quick Note, it is actually 140 blocks per second with my little trick with souldspeed, depthstrider and speed 2 Also the enderpearl actually does need to be in loaded chunks I assume you tested it out in spawn chunks which are always loaded :D

@@insomnia2046 No no it's different, I figured it a long time ago, using optifine, there's an option to tinker with the lighting and rendering the vanilla Minecraft does, you just choose I think it was the old lighting option and that's it. A lot of KZbinrs use it due to how vibrant it is and it took me a unreasonable time to learn how it's done.

I went to woodland mansions.... I got 0 diamonds... complete waste of time.... opened neither and I actally had a path in there already that was only like 600blocks away, I decided mine while I was out there and make a rail system... So now I have a rail system to 2x neither forts, and the woodland fort, and a village near the woodland fort.... and it didnt cost much only about 600iron and about 100 gold .... still its awesome to just be able to travel the map with ease

Blue Ice + nether is fast enough. For the amount of resources needed, I don't see a motive to go faster.

Let me rephrase my comment: For practical transport reasons, ice highways in the nether are fast enough. The other alternatives cost too much. But if you wanna be a speed demon, please, go ahead and use the other methods. It's pretty fun to go fast too. I just don't have the patience to build dolphin highways

Apparently that's not a problem for ender pearls in a bubble column, at least as of 1.16

it won't because only dropped items and mobs which are not name tagged(exceptions for zombies holding items) will despawn. and an Ender pearl is not dropped it is thrown so it will never despawn until it touches a block and then it teleports you.
