Kinda cool how that first design shown is very similar to the mythbusting platforms used for testing new blocks. I guess that shows that the game really hasn't changed that much, while also changing drastically. That's cool to me, and seeing stuff like this is interesting too

I was excited to see the watersteam witch farm at 29:25 It's a lot like my general mob farm that I designed myself. I like it because it can be shut off just by turning the water on permanently.

This is incredibly impressive! You’ve put in a lot of work all these years and it’s inspiring to see. It amazes me how you even come up with a lot of this stuff, because some of it seems completely bonkers. I bet it makes a lot more sense for someone who’s been playing the same for a long time and who is also checking out new features a lot, though! All these crushing mechanics seems a bit aggressive, but oh well, it’s only a game (thankfully). Donut 2 reminds me of a twister ice cream! Such a cool farm as well with the xp orbs flying up like that. You did an amazing job on this video and I’m so glad you decided to make it!

13:36 I made a mob farm like that which was supposed to be a modification on Mumbos mob farm, clearly I was imitating someone else lol, I mainly did the full length of pistons to cut down on the number of hoppers needed, it was very successful btw

This made me feel a bit nostalgic about the early days of Minecraft. I remember when I first started learning about redstone I got interested in building an automatic minecart station. There were no dispensers nor powered rails, so the minecarts had to be placed in booster cells where one cart was constantly boosting the other one, and once the switch was pulled it would go to the player. Then it would go to a place where I could go in, and I could press a button to get another cart to boost me off to where I wanted to go. It was complicated, but I loved it. I never succeeded in making a fully working version in my non-hacked survival world though :(

I have fond memories of recreating the 1.6 enderman xp farm which made me rich in the survival towny server i was playing in. Such a damn good farm. 👍🏼👍🏼 I also recreated the slime farm which made me even more rich and OP. I started work on that wither skeleton farm but could barely finish it.

34:35 speaking of record farms I've looked through many videos for info/tutorials on how to make record farms for 1.15 but only came up with some grey stuff. If possible find a farmable way of getting discs in 1.15 after it's been completely optimized and mostly bug free (the last 1.15 update with Mojang announce it).

Hey! Who exactly does not want to upgrade to 1.15? All the hermits I watch and that is most of them, are playing other series. Grain is not playing on server no more he stated until 1.15. My family server upgraded immediately putting behind us a world we had for a very long time on 1.14.4 started fresh. Lets get this thing restarted Season 7 You all have done so much already lets get some new things going on instead of the same ho hum things. Building a new world and all it takes to get going again is exciting for us fans. Especially a 64 old gamer who does not watch tv, read magazines or newpapers. I research and watch mc a bit play a bit too. 1.15 for a new season.. make it fresh and new Xisuma you can convince them all. Get hermits back interested in playing more :P

The problem is 1.15 only introduces bees, honey blocks, and a bunch of bug fixes, but nerfs villager trading which a lot of hermits have invested into. Also, 1.16 will completely redo the Nether, so that seems like a good time to start up a new season.

Thanks Xisuma! I’m going to try to build the underground mob farms, I have a mob farm that uses water to push the mobs off, but they aren’t spawning. And I also have an old fashioned mob farm that for some reason spawns pillagers inside also. So hopefully your underground mob farm might work for me. (Any ideas to help me with the 2 broken mob farms are appreciated 👍🏼)

IIRC you didn't mine most of the obsidians for the nether portal gold farm. You set up a chest asking for them with 12 obsidians per diamond or per 64 some kind of building block, I forgot the specific detail. Basically the season 6 obsidian4diamond shop isn't a new thing.
