A good way of replacing the red stained clay I found was with some spruce logs, I'm building a medieval village and the red just didn't fit. Try spruce logs!

Dear Jeracraft, I build in survival on a server in default texturepack. Your buildings translate very good to default. You said somewhere in an other video that you do things together with madness64. He is builds in default and has made a video explaining why he does so. I think he is correct. I like very much to use your ideas. Maybe it is a good idea to allways, make a screenshot of your finished buildings in default, then we builders in default can make our choices in choosing our blocks. And a lot of compliments for your tutorials.

This goes really well with MrCrayfish's construction mod. You can use the pencil to copy the building once so you don't have to build it multiple times

I think in the vanilla texture pack, that the oak wood planks look better in combination with jungle wood planks rather than spruce wood planks, it just blends together

for you complaining about the texturepack: It looks great in vanilla, i changed out the red stained clay with stone bricks, and it looks perfect for a medieval farm. Just saying guys :) It looks great and is amazing, totally been an inspiring build an I'll build it outside my village :D thanks for this awesome video

My complaint would be that you use texture packs. Your builds look very nice but you should've made your primary focus on vanilla textures.

It is a medieval barn. The texture pack emphasizes the medieval aspect. It looks fine on vanilla textures.

If you're building in survival, you can fill interior ground by using yellow terracota instead of hay to make it cheaper.

For those of us who use default texture pack, it sucks that on your texture pack the jungle wood and oak wood look like spruce, so when you build it it looks nicer :P

I am doing this build but I did it my own way instead of putting the tower on the right I put it on the left. I don't know if that will mess up the build or not. I don't think it will. But Jerecraft I have built like 6 builds so far of your's.

I use John Smith legacy texture for 1.7.2, but ive noticed really different colours, either more darker or lighter wood, which John smith u use? As i know , u aint playing on 1.7.2, so i also wonder if the original john smith would work fine on 1.7.2?

hes uses John Smith but he changes some of the textures himself..
