Just built this following along. I replaced all the stone parts with deepslate brick, and added a couple other modifications, as follows: > I placed a lectern where the first crafting table went in the video > For that same alcove and the one opposite, I replaced the entire back wall with bookshelves > I replaced the furnace with a blast furnace, and added a “stovepipe” of deepslate tile wall.

Thank you for this. I used this as my starter house. Expanding it later on to be a sprawling underground base. The only issue is I found a mob spawner literally 5 blocks away from where I built, literally 6 blocks below ground level...

This is a nice build, but I modified it a bit by making the arches inside different rooms and the center back wall making it a portal, it still looked really good

Inside the arches, instead of using the gray stone colors, use some dark black stones to add more depth and texture. Otherwise it feels very flat

I used to hate it 💀 started mixing blocks more to give things more dimension. I still use single blocks for some things tho. Like making monoliths.

Depends on the mix. I like adding cracked blocks to some builds, to give it a run down appearance sometimes.

For this build instead of using spruce wood, and all of that, I use cherry blossom wood instead definitely recommend it if you like the new cherry blossom trees, and basically anything cherry blossom

Mixing blocks at a small scale is ok (if ur not lazy), but on a larger scale (like very long castle walls for example) id never texture by hand

Super easy. Took me about 45 to 50 min to make and collect all the things needed. If you are playing survival. Collecting all the bs. 😅 it does take a minute to collect the things. Tbh this was easier than the fox house 🤔 and thats just concrete colored orange and white.

I'm confused, irl how does the chimney work without a fire place? You should put a fireplace inside, it has a lot of space inside but it has a small things and decorations but I like the details 😉, All in all 7.6/10, I like the outside look and its details!
