The heart heal plate is not necessary a Civil War item. They are from that era but we find those same heel plates up here too. There was a debate about those and some claim Confederate soldiers might have used some but they can be found all over. That 1884 Brit Penny is in amazing condition. HH🖖🖖

thanks! if the copper coin is in rough shape then ill just brush it with a tooth brush or use a tooth pick. But if the coin is in good condition I'll just keep spraying it with water so the coin won't get scratched and lose value

Cool finds, the story with the heart heel plate is that prostitutes wore them so the men could follow the hearts to where the women were. Who knows if its true. Lol. All the best, see you soon. 👍👍
