You say to get to all these trails early in the morning, but what time did you get to all these trails since you did so many hikes? Did you wear hiking boots or shoes?

I'm going to the Smokys this spring. Which campgrounds do you recommend in the area. Provide a link to the video if you have one. I will definitely check out Mingo
@CampTravelExplore4 жыл бұрын
There were several near Mingo Falls, but we stopped there on our way into the Great Smoky Mountain National Park so we didn't camp there. The town was Cherokee, so I would just google campgrounds in Cherokee. Hope that helps some.

Visited Mingo Falls and Soho Falls the same day in the summer of 2019. Very difficult to get pictures of the falls unless you get there at the right time of the day. The Cherokee side of the Smokies is the side everyone ignores. You should have reminded people that Mingo and Soho falls are both on tribal land and tribal rules (Covid 19, etc) apply. This trip we stayed at Smokmont campground and also visited three water falls inside the park at Bryson City on US 19 south of Cherokee.
