Thank you for this and for really showing lots of the trail! Trying to scope out some senior friendly waterfall hikes for when I take my grandma. Everything I’ve read has said this is an easy hike, but this really shows just what to expect and I appreciate it a ton. Safe travels.

Im so glad it was helpful for that purpose, I try and have someone feel like they know what they would be getting in to!

Great job as always! That was one of our favorite hikes in the Smokies. If you ever get a chance to get back, do yourself a favor and scramble to the upper falls.

Yes we will try that next time for sure! Thanks for checking it out for us! Always appreciate your feedback!!

Great video. Enjoyed seeing the trail to this hidden gem. This is one hike I have wanted to take someday. If you get back to the Smokys in the future, make time to hike to Ramsey Cascades, in the Greenbriar section of the park. Many consider it the most spectacular waterfall in the GSMNP, especially after a good rain or snow melt.
@CampTravelExplore3 жыл бұрын
Yes I will put Ramsey Cascades on our list, also we didn't have time to get to Rainbow Falls, have you done that one?
@timothyh.14603 жыл бұрын
@@CampTravelExplore Rainbow Falls was at the top of my list last year before the pandemic began. We had to cancel our trip to the Smokys and haven't been back yet. We chose not to risk travel to busy areas because of our age and some pre-existing medical conditions. I should be fully vaccinated by April, so we will start to look at travel plans for 2021.

What trail did you use? You mention going to Tremont but I don't see any waterfalls in that area.

Looks amazing. I'm wondering if this hike would be too dangerous for a seven-year-old. What are your thoughts? P. S anyone with experience is welcomed to share their thoughts. Thanks.
@CampTravelExplore3 жыл бұрын
I think the little one would do just fine. Just explain there are some sections where he or she would have to stay really close so as not to get to the steep drop offs in certain sections.
