@Sim Racing Corner - These work great mounted to acrylic sheets, I use 3mm and 5mm sheets available in may different colours, it's more flexible than wood, easier to machine and produces some pretty deep bass. A bigger soundboard ultimately results in more bass from the same 25w transducer. That's why these work so impressively when pressed against a large window, or very trendy ceiling suspended RGB backlit smoked acrylic panels. 😉 Keep up the great videos. 👍🏻‍

I have a pair of 200W transducers bolted to an Aluminium 6mm plate under my seat, driven by a 100W Mosfet amplifier, which gives good seat rumble effects for things like kerbs, engine revs and gearchanges.

@@P3ktoRis if you have mean you have neighbours living under your floor? Possibly not. They do rumble a bit. Even in a detached bungalow, my wife can hear when I'm sim racing 2 rooms away.

With neighbours not even 50w blasting from under the rig is recomended, im going for 25w ones cause its enough to propagate the vibrations thru the rig and not the floor.

for the 20W exciter how did you set the amp? I assume I cannot go all the way in the volume knob?

I imagine that chunky block of motor could be too solid for the vibrations to pass through.

Are you still using this? Don’t you think the tape will dampening some of the vibrations? I did order this today. Awesome idea.

I'm not using them right now, they we're on my Fanatec CSL pedals, but I have different pedals installed right now. Tape is okay for these. Over similar exciters like from Dayton also use tape to attach them.

I'd be curious to see how these would be in lieu of the 15W shaker you have (had?) mounted to your Heusinkvelds. Better or worse than the Fanatec's tiny rumble motor, I wonder.

Vibrations create sound, so yes. I have a plan for a project so we will be able to find not how much noise they produce for sim racing tactile.

Mine came in but I can't get anything out of them and not sure why... the wires are red and cold not black, I hope that has nothing to do with it.

That shouldn't matter. You also need to rule out other possibilities, like is the amp working properly, and even making sure you have sound running to the amp is set up correctly.
