Beautiful... Vicky, you are amazing! This one is probably my favorite from this new series because I love how you chose gorgeous elements from a "wedding" paper pad and although the theme of the page has a romantic vibe, it shows you can create non-wedding layouts using the pad. I have an older, similar Stamperia wedding themed pad but I don't scrapbook anymore nor attend many weddings, the pages are just so beautiful that I couldn't resist it. Beautiful as always! ❤️ I have a questioned. I want to do my first journal page. (Nope haven’t started it yet.) my question though is I’m using stamperia cats and orchids. I want to use the cat for the focal point but I’m unsure what color to do the background? Could you give me some direction?

Brandy if I am not mistaken that cat is black / grey? Then it is neutral in color and it will pop on any colorful background. I usually cut out my focal points and then place them on top of different colors... or the background papers from the same pad. I audition them.... and go with whatever is pleasing to my eyes.

I usually go with the font my label maker has but also like non cursive fonts as well as typewriter fonts. As for the size depends on the page for small ones I usually go with 10 for my bigger journals I may go up to 16
