How to Make Cookie Sandwich at Home (ASMR)

Ingredients
Cookies
75g butter (⅓ cup) (at room temperature)
50g sugar (¼ cup)
50g brown sugar (¼ cup)
1 egg
150g flour (1 cup)
3g salt (½ tsp)
5g baking powder (1 tsp)
5g vanilla (1 tsp)
100g chocolate chips (¾ cup)
Filling
75g butter (⅓ cup)
110g powdered sugar (1 cup)
5g vanilla (1 tsp)
15ml milk (1 tbsp)
Bake 170°C (338°F) for 15min

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 340°F (170°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter, sugar ve brown sugar until the mixture is well combine.
- Add the egg to the butter mixture and mix well.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Stir in the chocolate chips.
- Chill in the fridge about 30 minutes.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of cookie dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden but the centers are still soft.
- Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet.
- In a large bowl, add the room-temperature butter mix until it becomes creamy and smooth.
- Add the powdered sugar, mixing until well combined.
- Mix in the vanilla extract.
- Add a tablespoon milk. It should be thick and creamy but still spreadable.
- Once the cookies have cooled completely, spread filling onto the flat side of one cookie.
- Top with another cookie, flat side down, to create a sandwich.
- Gently press the cookies together to spread the filling to the edges.
- Your delicious cookie sandwiches are ready to be enjoyed...
