Sorry about that, I had to put in a looped sensor as it never turned up. Then reordered it and had to wait. Do you have a OBD reader? You will need it.

Well done, but one remarks loktite need to be used for those two main bolds. Anyway that helps a lot :)

While brakes are off check calliper slide pins move smoothly and you might as well grease them up under the rubber boot with silicone grease. You did not mention that, its vitally important.

Great video. Thanks for uploading. Could you change the sensor without taking the pads off? My wife's is showing low pads when they have loads of meat left so guessing the sensor has failed.

Can indeed - just pull the sensor out and unplug. Two options, firstly you can replace with a brand new one, the reset the brake light on the dash using Carly, etc. Second option which I actually had todo while I was waiting for one is snip the wire and solder the positive and negative together to make a loop. Then plug it back in and reset the car. Then in time, just replace with a new one. Hope that helps!

@@FuelledLife sweet appreciate your quick reply. I've ordered a new one so will try that. The dash light won't reset at the moment, The number counter resets but the red light stays on. Will be doing discs and pads all round soon at service time but it would be nice to get the light off in the mean time.

@@antn1b no worries at all. Sounds to me like the car can see it’s been tripped so until it’s swapped out for another ‘new’ one, it won’t let you. Good luck! I’m sure it will all be fine. Make sure you have your handbrake released when resetting as well, otherwise it will fail. Just FYI if your using Carly.

I see you've got the kielder impact. What's your thoughts? Mines been struggling a bit recently with bolts it'd usually whip straight off, only had it 2 year and not used it much

Yeah funny you say that, I’ve noticed also mine has also seems to have reduced torque. I’m pretty sure they have a 3 year warranty so I was considering contacting them!

@FuelledLife yeh I might try that, mines the 700nm version, but there's not a chance in hell it's ever been able to undo a 700nm nut even when it was new

@@MrHipwell1989 Mine is also the 700nm model. I do have multiple batteries for the smaller 400nm one and also the angle grinder and drill combo so I’ll double check that I haven’t done something stupid like put the 4.0ah battery in by mistake. Definitely will contact them if that isn’t the case though. Shouldn’t have an issue with things like wheel bolts torqued up to spec.

I appreciate the info, but two really important steps were skipped in this video. The guide pins/sliders should always be removed, cleaned, and greased. If not they will begin sticking and cause premature pad wear. Also, the rotor should always be turned/resurfaced or replaced. Rotors get a hard glaze over time and do not work as well. Could mean life or death.
