Suspect: "So i was walking along the beach and i saw an old man floating around the water with his head facing down. When i got close to it, i knew he was a dead man even before i got there because he had his head in the water." Jim: "When the suspect said that he knew the victim was dead, his reasoning was that the victim was facing under the water. Here, notice how the suspect only mentions the head and not the body. When a person A sees another person B in a distance of 5-10 meters, usually the whole torso would stand out instead of the head. In later stages of investigation, the authorities have found out that in that distance and in an 45 degree angle from where the suspect was standing, he could see the torse and a piece of plastic bottle stuck under one of the rocks - not his head. The suspect haven't mentioned the piece of evidence that Loulou found. On December 24th, the suspect was found guilty of murder and pleaded not guilty.
