As a Big long time fan (I know I am one of many), this year with the Gold medal and the win at the Home of Golf, I am So Happy for you. Once again it takes the media to remind us how much of a treasure Lydia is to golf and August 24 will be The Golden Summer. When it came to the 2 pinnacle events, Lydia showed us her class, poise and grace as a HoF champion, Olympic Gold medallist and Open champion

Lydia won in the same way the great Jack Nicklaus so often won. On the back 9 on Sunday she held her nerve and made no mistakes to score 69 in the final round. Vu needed a birdy on the 18th for playoff but 3 putted under pressure. Korda's chances were destroyed by a double bogey and a bogey under pressure. Lydia's Nicklaus like steadiness under pressure won her the day.
