They make perfect junk journal pockets.
Use them to store ephemera, give as gifts with greeting cards or gift cards inside.

Love this idea Julie. Don't feel bad, I was raised with 4 older brothers and well, I tried to be like them once, and Mom was in the room. Needless to say I only used a swear word one time, the taste of soap was super unpleasant. And then wouldn't you know it, I had 4 sons. But I remember the taste of that soap. And I just grumble under my breath. lol so easy to pick up bad habits.

I literally *never* swore until I had children! Then I became a nurse, so…I could teach the sailors a few choice words. The mat color is so pleasing to the eye; not as harsh as the black.

@@CameliaCraftsDesigns I'm making a owl junk journal for a friend for Christmas and I had all of these little quotes that gave information about the owls and I didn't know what to do with them. But when I saw you make these lovely expandable envelopes I knew this is what I needed so I made one and I backed all my little descriptions and distress them and put them all in the envelope. I just love it what a handy idea blessings and hugs always

It’s from the First World War. There are a variety of versions. Some, mildly naughty and others are pretty graphic! Thanks again for sharing this project!
