Had my wife watch this so she understands that these brakes, fundamentally aren’t any different than any other brakes that I’ve done. Thank you for making it simple enough for her to understand. Well done 👍

Thank you for the great video! Is there a sensor on each of the front wheels or just on one. Can you tell me on which side of the US model?

Will I always have to change the brake sensor at every brake pad change?

That is the recommendation from Mini/BMW

Do you have to replace the vacuum pump at any point? I’m driving with about 45k miles to the car and I’m replacing tires and the brakes and am wondering if I’m better off doing them myself and replacing the pump at a later date or waiting for the shop
@HaynesManuals2 жыл бұрын
The vacuum pump is intended to last the lifetime of the vehicle. No need to replace it unless it fails.

Hi, is the brake pad sensor on both wheels or just on one?
@HaynesManuals2 жыл бұрын
Normally, just on the N/S caliper

Why My brake pedal hard after changing brake pads? (Mini cooper). Before it was good. Ichanged booster, vacuum pump also. But no difference
@HaynesManuals2 жыл бұрын
A hard pedal is normally a sign that the servo vacuum system isn't working...Can only suggest that you double check your work.
