Did you know that in the Netherlands we call those “Poffertjes” but usually they’re more fluffy! I am definitely gonna try your recipe and see how it tastes.

Oo I remember I want to try to make it. I googled it only to learn that we actually have it here. Well, it's not a 1:1 but it was inspired by poffertjes. It's called Kue Cubit (pinched cake). It's a bit thicker and nowadays it usually has 4 different shapes and can be easily found right in front of schools since kids really love them. Another variant of it is Kue Jaring Laba-laba (spider's web cake). Just like the name, it looks like a big spider's web. And yes, I'm from Indonesia

They're basically flat poffertjes, they sell special pans if you plan on making them more often. We usually eat them with powdered sugar and a glob of butter

@@alatrom We usually eat them in the colder months, so that's personally my favourite time to eat them. I don't think they're too hard to make, but I'm not sure how they'll turn out on a flat pan. They're really nice and fluffy tho, so you definitely should give it a try
