A lot of times the VERY FIRST days after a muffler install it may be a different that what it will ultimately sound like, I’ve heard guys speculate that it’s because the muffler gets a bit of an exhaust bath after a week or so on the inside

It always had a choppy / lumpy idle. I preferred it with the short turndown bend on it. Sounded great at high revs!!. It sounds different again with the shotgun tips too. I’m thinking about adding another muffler in there to make it more quieter.
