When I do (European) flesh lately, I go one of two ways. If it's pale and sickly, I use Army Painter Mummy Robes, Flesh Tone, and highlight with Mummy Robes again. If it's more angry, I do Wraithbone, Fyreslayer Flesh Contrast Paint, then highlight with a reddish flesh color.

That Cobalt Keep stuff looks sweet! Their bases are designed around much larger magnets (10x2mm) than what I like to use (6x2mm) on models but they look perfect for batch painting pinned models. I've just started painting my models and bases separately, and I've been struggling to find a way to use my Game Envy handle with pinned models as easily as it handles based models. This system of locking magnetic bases with cork adapters looks perfect for that! I just ordered a bunch of stuff to get free shipping, thanks for the promo code, woohoo

Great work. Maybe try a bit of burgundy in a wash very thinned over some of the lower areas of large plates in the crevices a bit thicker. I find it helps make metals feel a bit more rich in wear and reflectivity. But careful to not overdue it as it might make your ambient occlusion in the creases look to harsh.

I would like to also mention that Cobolt keep is an absolute legend. When his initial kickstarter didn’t work out he contacted me over this and even sent me a sample of his product line over free of charge and I made sure to send a healthy tip his way for that excellent service. Honestly, if you are looking for a magnetic mini system and not hugely into DIY, this set of bases and handles make it so easy. A year on I’m still using it, I might look into ordering some more for my new art project. I add comment on video when I get opportunity, but white powered armour got a chuckle out of me.

In any case there’s a lot I feel I can learn. Human faces is still something I struggle with, as is painting white. I do love the freehand on the shield though; and just how neat the icon graph is. I might want to try that when I have a great candidate for that
