I thought the white was really good man. You outdid yourself with the green and really inspired me to take my painting up a notch on the chromatic series. My white was the 2nd mini I painted after coming back from 35 years of absence from the hobby. I have been thinking about going back to it and doing more because it's boring. Adding layers is what it needs and some washing perhaps. Cheers man!

I really liked this build! I think the only little nitpick I have is that I think you could have spent more time on the little red lizard on the base, it seems a bit basic. That's a bit of a problem I think since the red really draws the eye, and it would help if the paintjob holds up to closer scrutiny.

Why so many layers on the rocks when you are going to cover them up in the end?
@DevsDice4 жыл бұрын
Well first off, I didn't work off a premade plan so I rarely know how much or little something is covered before doing it. Also, the rocks do "peek" through quite a bit here and there so best to ...haha...cover ones bases! In addition to this, I wanted to also show good looking rocks from my perspective. Hey Ronald! No I don't actually, I do however sit in a fairly well ventilated place and most importantly, the amount of resin I work with is usually quite small. What does he mean by “dry brush” at the beginning?
@DevsDice4 жыл бұрын
Do you mean when I start painting the rocks? Dry brushing means that you have removed a majority of the paint from the brush before applying it to the miniature. Usually by "painting" it a bit on some paper tissues or such. Did that answer your question? :)
