In an elderly asymptomatic female, ultrasound shows minimal fluid in the endometrial cavity, measuring 4 mm in width. The endometrial lining appears normal, without any thickening or masses. No other uterine or adnexal pathology is observed. Color Doppler imaging reveals no abnormal vascularity, indicating no signs of inflammation, infection, or malignancy. This small fluid collection is a common benign finding in postmenopausal women, often attributed to physiological changes in the atrophic endometrium. It may also represent residual fluid from minor bleeding or recent procedures. Since no other abnormalities or symptoms are present, this is likely insignificant. The prognosis is favorable, and no immediate intervention is needed. Follow-up imaging may be considered to monitor the condition, but it rarely leads to complications.
