powder foundation looks powdery and cakey when it is applied incorrectly or if you apply too much. Also, if your skin isn't moisturized properly, it will look dry; and using too dense a brush with too much powder on it will cause it to cake in areas. I only use powder foundation ( I make it myself with minerals) and it works very well at evening out my skin and it still looks skin like, especially when I set it with my rose/aloe water. Another neat trick is to mix it with a little facial oil and a spritz of rose/aloe water for a very dewy but not oily look. It also makes it almost waterproof!

I've noticed a bit of dryness or perhaps bumps under one of your eyes. Maybe it's just me but if you have noticed it too then I had the Same thing and it gets very much worse so I recommend to stop using the benefit eye products. That's what does it for me!

I honestly think you're one of my favourite people to watch, I suffer with insomnia and when it gets to 4.30am I know that's the end of the line so I always just start my day super early, and I'm currently doing just that - eating breakfast and drinking tea whilst watching this video :) I find you very calming, and this is my perfect minimal makeup look! omg, that's exactly the way I've been doing my makeup lately, I feel like my skin is improving a bit since December and I don't want to ruin it by putting on tons of foundation: I put concealer and I use the real techniques base shadow brush it works the same way and it's a bit smaller and so is my face, then some translucent powder, a palladio baked blush, the just add some powder to my brows, not too much because I'm lazy, clear gel, then slap on some brown eyeliner and smudge it roughly with my fingers I go a bit overboard on mascara on the top lashes gotta admit and then just my ol' trusty revlon just bitten k... in honey ..... if I'm going semi-fancy-but still lazy I put on 24 hour tattoo eyeshadow by maybelline in taupe and then a random warm brown eyeshadow on top (usually a kiko one)

you should really try lancome's grandiose mascara. i am IN LOVE with it. it gives volume like you wouldnt ever see before, it doesnt clump and lashes are nicely separated. i was just like you, i cannot get away from my miss manga mascara but now grandiose is all i ever reach for. i hate they're real :p

Have you tried the clea de peau concealer in stick form every blogger seems to rave about? I would much rather save money and go for the laura mercier but I know it is a bit drying, and I already have too many crusty concealers for my dry skin!
