You’ve put it into words how I’ve felt lately! I’ve been on a minimalism journey for about four years but i am exhausted from constantly trying to declutter and lately I’ve stopped tearing rooms apart trying to declutter more and more. You’ve hit it right on the nail. Minimalism should be a tool that makes itself obsolete. I love that, I’ve been focusing on my stuff and I’ve forgotten the whole goal is to be able to live a life not focused on our stuff 😂

This sounds so balanced and healthy. I’m definitely at the beginning of my minimalism journey (I probably shouldn’t even call it that), so I’m glad you’re still going to put out that kind of content. I’m realizing that all my clutter is deeply affecting my mental health, and possibly even the mental health of my 5 year old, so I am really determined to declutter so we have more room to breathe. I don’t imagine our home will ever look “minimalist,” but like you said, that’s not the point. The point is to be comfortable in my home, and not have to *think* about my stuff all the time. Keep up the great work!

Thank you so much for your comment! It sounds like you are on a great and healthy journey! And I would at least call it minimalist journey as soon as your goal is clear and progress is made towards less stuff, less unnecessary purchases and more piece of mind because we can free our thoguhts, wishes and happiness from stuff ☺️

Balance is the best thing about everything. I had the same, I wanted to perfect minimalism, but sometimes it made my life difficult to such an extent that I was tired of it. I'm glad you found a happy medium. Good luck Lia 💓💓💓

Thank you Lia. Despite saying all this year that I was going to declutter I somehow still haven’t really got started. I think sometimes we need a push. I just don’t really know what that is going to be for me.

Tolles Video! 😁 LG Andrea

Minimalism is for me way more something about organisation overall than material decluttering.

This sounds like a really good place to be. When the values that minimalism can facilitate have become so internalised that they are automatically reflected in one's decisions about life. I am not quite at that point. I am no longer actively decluttered or focused on quantity. But I still find the life so counter-cultural to all the messages that we get in the West about what a successful life is that I still enjoy minimalist content - as an inspiration and a reminder. I've watched a good deal of you old videos and look forward to the topics you might broaden out your channel with next. I know it takes a lot of work to put together a relatively short video and appreciate your content.

Minimalismus ist kein Selbstzweck. Habe auch eine Weile gebraucht, das zu lernen.

In my opinion I think that being a minimalist is deferent from a person to another, like as long as you're happy and satisfied with what you have its ok. you don't have to follow a set of rules to be a minimalist, I think of things in the way that I use them and what I actually need. like I think hygiene products are important, but you don't need to have all of what's there just get the basics like soap, shampoo, toothpaste and a tooth brush. and maybe a face wash... but my point here is that if you don't think you'll need it or will use it don't get it, but if you want something and you know that you will definitely be using a lot sure why not?!! its nice to make yourself feel like you got this thing because you actually like it or have an interest in it and not only because its a necessity.
