You can mark spots on Google Maps! The GPS will still work even without service, just make sure to mark the lat/lon coordinates.

Hey on that first bite when your halibut fishing I learned do not set the hook just start reeling when you feel the pressure they'll hook themselves. ✊🏻🤜🏻🤛🏻👍🏻

Might consider coming very early or staying late and trying the pleasure point area with fresh squid for a White Sea bass. You can use the Santa Cruz surf report to get the daily swell and high tide reports, The squid and Ice cube trick works and a few have been taken on white swim baits

Several small white sharks hang out on the beaches sunning themselves and bad encounters are pretty uncommon fortunately. October and November when the water gets dirty and big sharks travel south is when you need to be extra careful

Adam; to hook and set a hook in a halibut does not take much skill. But when you gaff a halibut it shows lots of calm skill in where it's placed so not to waste edible fish and also too quickly end the story. Great video and commentary. Amazing how calm the seas were.

@@STRIPERBAY408 Equilibrium is what economist would call the phenomenon where people see you catch fish and swarm your spot. Same thing in my traffic example. Once people see something they react and equalizes the playing field. Word gets out and you lose the secret that gave you an advantage.
