Love this! It’s so refreshing to see a routine that doesn’t include 18 steps and cost a zillion dollars 😊

The products in which the packaging makes them come to contact with air don't get unhygienic when you touch them. When formulating, they create them in a way that it won't get bad or unhygienic by you touching them. So, as long as you are the only one using them (with clean hands) it is okay for you to use the cerave moisturiser directly. This also applies to those serum bottles meaning that you can have their applicators touch your skin directly without the fear of them becoming unsafe to use, hope my comment helps!

Try the CereVe gentle cleanser. Is way better for sensitive, extra dry skin. That squeaky clean dealing is a compromised skin barrier . It may be clean but it has been stripped of its natural barrier causing dry skin, rashes, hives, rosacea break outs… faded topical is great only if you use a sunscreen religiously! Try Drmtly sunscreens. Works as a sinscreeen and moisturizer. (Fyi I have worked in the skin and beauty business for over 20 years in a plastic surgeons office as a esthetician)

Fun video! I totally agree that simple is better. My lazy cow body moisturizing method it to keep a bottle of oil in the shower and just put a few squirts on while I’m still totally wet. Works great.

I also have extremely sensitive skin and issues with all types of sunscreens, mineral and chemical. The only one my skin can tolerate for daily use is Raw Elements. I’ve used both the tinted version in the round tin and the baby version in the round tin and both worked great for me with no irritation. The version in the pump was a little problematic for me personally.

I wanted to add, I've tried the Elda MD UV clear but it burned my eyes so badly; the one I much prefer and highly recommend is DRMTLGY broad spectrum spf 46 I believe its called, it's chemical and mineral filter so not sure if your skin would tolerate it but it doesn't burn like the Elta MD for me, and it leaves my skin looking amazing. Feels very nice on the skin too, very cosmetically elegant.

I will say that I was able to use the drmtlgy sunscreen you mention and it didn’t irritate my skin but would still burn my eyes if I were to touch my face and that try to get an eyelash out of my eye it something. I have quite sensitive skin and I actually do better with chemical sunscreen than mineral, but still have to be picky about which I use.

Great video Hanna! I love how minimal your skincare routine is, I might try the Dr browner balm, lately I have really dry hands and even though I have tried multiple moisturizers, nothing has work, so I will try this balm, I love to that is cruelty free and that I can use it in my lips. I usually use aquaphore in my lips but if this balm would work would be a great alternative for a cruelty product. I also agree with what you said at the end of the video, when I started using less products and not listening to everyone skin advice, my skin started doing a lot better. I also used to use cerave but now I use Paula’s choice and my skin is super happy. Sending you a big hug 🤗

Hi Hanna, I actually use both cerave lotion & cream. I live in Indonesia, the weather here is very humid so I use the lotion for my morning routine and use the cream at night. It helps my skin stay plump even when I turn the AC all night.

I loved CeraVe for SO long, great moisturizers! I have moved towards cruelty free brands and the Versed (target) skin rich soak rich moisture cream is divine! I’m not that dry, but I just love thick and rich creams especially overnight. This one blends so well, is great for before makeup or bedtime and it’s just… my new favorite thing. Maybe something to consider when you run out. It’s small though so only face, but it does last quite a while. I think the Faded stink is from the kojic acid. It’s not the best smell, but it’s such a great product!

Ran across this, and I also have very dry, sensitive skin so I thought I would share what has worked for me for my morning routine. I use a similar cloth to cleanse, but instead of water I use CeraVe's micellar water. I find it cleans better than just water and I find it more hydrating too. Then I actually don't use a regular moisturizer, but instead have found some hydrating sunscreens that I love (brand varies based on where I am living). I find a lot of sunscreen that is supposed to be for "sensitive skin" actually dry out my skin, especially mineral sunscreen. What I have found to work best is sunscreens that have mexoryl xl as the sunscreen ingredient (aka Drometrizole trisiloxane). I find it the best for UV protection *and* hydration, and because I use it in lieu of a standard moisturizer, I never skip using it every day. The brands that I have used in the past with mexoryl in some of their products are Ombrelle, La Roche Posay, and Vichy Laboratories.

For sunscreen I would recommend the Cetaphil Sheer Mineral Liquid sunscreen for face, SPF 50. I have very sensitive skin and this is great. It gives a slight white cast but it settles down after a few minutes. Also the Elta MD UV Physical SPF 41 tinted sunscreen is excellent but a little pricey. No white cast as it’s tinted and the tint also helps even out the skin. The DRMTLGY tinted moisturizer SPF 46 is very good too but it is not completely mineral. None of these products have given me any negative reactions.

i want to start a skincare routine (preferably korean skincare), i have psoriasis and dry skin so it's difficult to find products that is kind to my skin rather than making it excessively drier as it is. it's so difficult bc drugstore products do not work well on me.

I unfortunately had a terrible allergic reaction to the Elta MD sunscreen. That has never happened to me before but I did some research and found that it was most likely one of the preservatives in the product. I found that others have had the same reaction to it but many people love it. Just something to be aware of!

I started a skincare routine a couple of years ago, and it has evolved to something very *similar to yours: 🌅 1. Moist *microfiber cloth 2. vitamin C serum (Home made: mix powdered ascorbic acid + distilled water, made fresh every couple of weeks). 2.5 Neutrogena HydroBoost 3. *A non-tinted Mineral zinc SPF 🌌 1. Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser 2. Adapaline (inexpensive EFFECTIVE retinoid) 3. CeraVe 🟣Renewing Night Cream
