Every child with delays seem to oh it's autism but it's so important to check further because many genetic conditions as example come with autism (or autistic symptoms).

Terra you are loved. I am sorry you are breaking down. My nephew has autism and my sister went through the same emotions. She still get emotional even though he is 17 now. When certain milestones are supposed to be happening she gets emotional. You are not alone.

Your awesome. I love how you advocate for your children. I had twins who stopped growing at about 2.5 to 3 months of age...long story, ppl thought for years they were going to be little ppl, they were also delayed but not badly, twin language, then speech impediment...but they did eventually get to 5' tall...but it was my son, who is schizo-Effective that I had to advocate for. I'd beg for testing, they say sure, then I find they didn't do it! I really had to go to bat for him to get him any kind of help & a proper diagnosis. (At first they just wanted to blame me for their problems...all of them.) Now we know...

My four-year-old granddaughter just completed her first year at an autism school. The difference in her from the beginning of the year to the end is like and day!! I am so glad her mother decided to put her in this school. She seems like a totally normal kid now and ready for kindergarten. You will see…..it will take a couple months but Magnolia will grow from this experience. It is life changing! And very important at this early young age to get this started when their brain is still developing. ❤

Terra sending a big hug 🥰 My youngest daughter is mentally challenged. When she was born they told that my child was born with Cerebral Palsy and didn’t know what that meant until the Neurologist explained it to I was like oh my goodness maybe I did something wrong but he explained to me that it was lack of oxygen at birth,she started school at the age of 2 years old she couldn’t walk,speak and among other things but with therapy and being in the pool for her motor movement it took a while but she started walking at the age of 5 years old,got potty train at the same time it took a lot of work and prayers. She’s 44years old and so thankful for God and her teachers,therapist and doctors. She’s doing wonderful. I truly understand what you are going through many blessings ♥️

I also have a 5 year old with type 1 diabetes so I can understand the stress that comes with caring for kids with special needs. Your doing great hopefully u find answers your looking for ❤

Hello. We have an autistic grandson. He is going to be 11 this year. Jareth is non verbal, however he does say mum mum and yum. We does communicate with his eyes and facial expressions. Jareth also has ADHD so he was always awake. It was really hard with him as he has no fear and couldn't sit still. He has calmed down a lot. He is also around two years old emotionally too. About 10 years ago I had genetic testing to find out about my albinism. This was at Kaiser in Los Angeles. Well, the test didn’t show that I have albinism. I found out why. There are different types of albinism but they tested me for the more popular types. I finally left it alone. None of my children were born with my condition. But it’s very obvious I have albinism. My eye issues, my skin and hair color or the lack of color. Even the doctor was surprised of my results. So, all that I just said I’m very happy you’re pushing for the genetic testing for your little girl. You’ll better understand why she does what she does and will be able to get the right assistance for her. Good luck to you.❤️

She's so cute mama ! Autism comes in many forms ! I work at a warehouse that makes parts for navy. We have a guy with Autism that's works there. He's smarter than most people in the plant ! He has a few small issues but does great work. He also drives. Never give up hope ! Just keep working with her she might surprise you later in life ! Hope for the best !❤❤❤

This brother has the most smarts in our family and has always been really intelligent. Everyone learns at different times and we are all different. I’m so sorry you’re going through this. All I can say is trust your mom gut. My sons’ doctor wanted to put in a whole bunch of therapies & all but one he “needed” according to the different therapists. He walked late & is talking late & we believe he’ll do it in his own time. But no one was ever concerned about other major health related things we brought up, just that he wasn’t walking “by 12 months” and he started walking perfectly fine a little after 2. It’s just so frustrating to have no one advocating for your kids in the medical world anymore & us moms always have to fight to be heard. ❤❤
