I got to see CC on an acoustic tour in the mid 90s... I want to say 95 or 96. At the old 930 in DC, with Levi I think. He did a cover of Paint it Black that was amazing.

My wife and I were at Killing Joke at the House of Blues some many years ago, and we arrived like an hour early. There was some bloke standing by the bar on the other side of the place talking to the bar tender, and I'm looking and looking thinking "is that Chris Connely?" After a few minutes he sees me and gives me this "what the f are you looking at" looks, so I stop staring. That's not much of a Connely story, but it's the best I have.
