Follow me on my hobby mink trap line through the Ozark Mountains of Missouri. I will show couple mink locations for blind set along with catches plus a blooper at the end.

Thanks gonna try covering everything trapping and lures making. But im gonna try to pay special attention on Otter Trapping. It doesn't seem to have alot of good otter information certainly not as much as coyotes and other furbearer.

About your best set is what I've heard called the Shower set. Put a trap directly behind where that water is coming out of the culvert. Bed it tight against that wall/bank. They love hunting around the little pool behind the spill. I don't know how many mink I have caught doing this. Even if they can barely fit underneath, behind that pipe Good luck guys

I believe they call the set by the wall a top edge set.

I prefer them over everything else I use for foothold on otter.

I do love blind set mink trapping! And I heartily agree with avoiding the raccoons by not using bait, if it can helped.

Man I love coon trapping but I hate to see a destroyed mink set holding a coon.
