I think people are putting too much value on Harrison Smith. He might be more active in the Flores system, but I only remember him standing out in 1 game last year, against the Panthers. According to PFF, 2023 was the 2nd lowest grade of his career at 68.9, just ahead of his Donatell year in 2022 at 68.4. He was ranked 43rd out of all safeties. Oddly enough Metellus was only ranked 42nd, and Bynum 29th, so Judd might want to reconsider those power rankings lol.

I'm not in favor of JJ McCarthy going out there until we have put forth an effort to improve the O Line especially at the interior lets be honest Bradbury is not a good center Ingram has shown some improvement at RG but they have zero idea how LG is going to turn out and the only way to surely improve this interior to too go for sure things in Free Agency and that's not happening until march 2025

Safety is not a high group for us. Bynam is good but kind of average. Smith is almost done, he cannot run and cover or tackle anymore, sorry! Metallus is great, but that is one for three. I have this area as a liability. I would put WR number 1 and edge number 2, and RB number 3.

That is complete BS to say Andre Carter wasn't ready to play last year because of "conditioning"... Carter had May, June, and most of July to get in peak football condition. In three months he could have also easily added 10 lbs of good weight. Carter needs to both refine and add rush moves... and that is why he wasn't ready last year.

As much as I am satisfied with the Vikings moves the last 2 seasons after that disastrous 22' draft I am surprised they have not attempted to move Booth and/or Cine NOT to just stir some shit up but it's starting to feel like some "ego" could be holding the Vikings front office back from admitting their mistakes in 22' and just moving on and trying to make some lemonade out of these lemons??? @@jeffaltier5582 it's not really surprising that Booth has not played much as he fell in the draft because of his injury history and now has pretty much been an injury plagued player which kept him away from the team at ever level of his development and with Cine especially being drafted in the first round as a safety simply cannot make it into probably the best Safety room in the NFL CIne to me was just one of the worst draft picks the Vikings has ever made

1. TE 2. OT 3. WR 4. Safety Johnny Mundt is good enough to start somewhere, and he's probably TE3 for us, and Hock is an elite TE1. WR could rank higher with a progression from Addison. We're weakest at defensive line, I'd like to see someone step up and create pressures from our defensive line this year because I just think it could take us to the next level.

@@JustusBuckels That’s partially why I think we can’t get too excited about it. He has always had a power back to lighten the load, Chandler is not that. Yes, that means more tread going into the season but I just don’t see a 30 year old back making a significant difference. I wouldn’t call the room dogshit, maybe “mid” would be a better description. One is high risk (Jones) the other is mainly potential (Chandler). I hope I’m eating these words at the end of the year.
