"Stuff in your life not working out, is really your life working out in other ways." Minnie Driver dishes on her new memoir "Managing Expectations: A Memoir in Essays," and how powerful it can be to let go of any expectations you have in life and just live in the moment. Minnie also reveals how driving sober after raves helped get her acting career off the ground, and dishes on her poignant podcast conversation about democracy with CNN's Christiane Amanpour just days before Russia invaded Ukraine.

I love Minnie Driver and Kelly. Kelly's laugh is the BEST and Minnie Driver's story about her BF definitely should be a movie. I'd love to hear Kelly on Minnie's podcast.

Kelly really brings out the best in everybody. I find that I really start to like whomever she is "interviewing" more than I did before. Even some that I may not have liked before, I end up liking now because of her show. She makes them feel so comfortable and gets them to naturally open up without even trying. Its effortless for Kelly to do that. FYI I put interviewing in quotations because let's be honest. Kelly doesn't interview her guests. She has normal everyday conversations with them. She uses the show as a platform to catch up with friends and chat up with some new ones. She was made for this!!

one of the best interviews & guests *ever* on Kelly's show! & have always liked Minnie [from a movie & interview distance, of course]..but now? omg, can we be friends? she's deep, introspective & so thoughtful & cool! and I mean, had no idea she was going to 'go there' with that boat story!, hahaha!!😆 that was fantastic! ! and it should AT LEAST be written as *part" of a story told on film, LoL!! I mean, for *real!* bc it's just TOO GOOD of a real life situation to not be made into some part of a film, at minimum.👍 also, love how real Kelly got & her answer to that question was nothing to be worried about, imho. it was innocent, reasonable & true..and, yes, don't let their kids get wind of it while they're so young..but honestly, when they're older it's not the kind of thing that would later traumatize a teen or adult child of divorced parents, I can vouch for that..and bc she wasn't getting into details: it was a deep, personal but, at the end of the day, it was a very basic & common thought for those suffering a divorce experience. 🌷🌷

I should go look this up myself, but I hope Minnie is still singing. (I did, she is - thank goodness). Everything I got in my Pocket was a great song imho. She's one of my favorite actresses, and just enjoyable to watch her 'emote'. Good luck in the new relationship, I hope it will go great for you Minnie.

Yes! Let's come back as men since we've already endured the inequalities as women in this bizarre world. I'm pretty sure we'd still come back with more sense than what's going on in today's society.
