How much of that nose cone is solid? If I needed to trim off 1/2 to 5/8 of an inch is there enough material there to do that? Or is it pretty much hollow with the exception of the potting material?

I can't take out ARMATURE. I think bearing has rust with BRUSH PLATE W/HOLDER. Do you have any idea?

Wished someone would do a shear pin rusted into shaft of armature!!!!mine is rusted in so bad I can’t hammer it out, I flattened the shear pin so I ground it flat very slowly abs carefully, nothing is easy on a salt water anything, guess I’m going to free have a new shear pin hole.
