Towards the end of Neolithic Greece in mid-4th millennium BCE, advanced cultures started appearing throughout the Aegean. The Minoan civilization of Crete grew into one of the most advanced and developed of its time, existing c. 3500-1100 BCE.

I wonder if the Minoan palace economy functioned in a similar manner to the system used by the Incas? The Incas would also collect food & resources to be placed in a structure and then distributed to the people when needed. Perhaps the Minoan palace served the same function, or maybe the resources were collected by the elites for their own use. The discovery of more texts and the decipherment of Linear A would perhaps shed light on this subject.

Another important crete goddess is britomartis or vritomartis..earlier goddess that led to greek goddess artemis..she was based in olous now known as elounda coins were found with her on them

The minoans is one of my interests i love crete its magical full of minoan remains everywhere and visited knossos and the place in santorini.i forget the name where everuthing is prrserved as itvwas before the minoan civilisation was wiped out by disasyer on santorini that destroyrd half tge island leabing crater and sea boiled to 1000s degrees and created tsunami that spread to crete and wiped out minoans
