According to the manual, 1/1000 second shutter speed can be used with apertures up to F4, and 1/2000 second shutter speed can be used with apertures up to F8.

Minolta V2, by Chiyoda Kogaku Seiko K.K. I own this beauty, in Mint+ in Box condition. The only issue perhaps is the shutter ring is rather stiff at dialing in, but it works fine. Also there is a quirky 5sec delay to take the next photo after the shutter is advanced and cocked. Other than that, mine is like it traveled into the future from circa 1958. Edit: The V2 works perfectly now. Shutter fires perfectly now. Just needed to be lubricated at the bottom of camera and fired often since it had not been used.

hi, may i know where exactly is the part that needs to be lubricated? and what did u lube it with?

@@frankiesebadoh The front helicoid assembly needs to be disassembled and re-greased. I just tolerate the stiff aperture ring when using it, as it's functional but just rather stiff. I'd avoid 'doing it yourself" as its a very precision mechanism, and no regular lube will work.

Tucked away right below the film rewind knob. The window is visible looking directly down at the camera.
