He got petrified, and everyone thought the statue in the centre of Baldurs Gate was a statue, not actually Minsc And Boo but petrified.

the fact that he didn't use the word "posterior" not becuz he doesn't know the meaning of it, but becuz he find the word is far too long and complicated to be used as a battle cry really shows he is a man of wisdom.

Same here! I just recruited him in BG3 and I also immediately understood why people who had played BG1 and 2 were so excited for him to return. Everything he says is pure comedy gold and Matt Mercer performs every line with such gusto 😄 He must have had a great time doing these lines
