EXCUSE ME! it’s literally THAT easy? i can’t find mint chocolate chip ice cream anywhere in my country and it’s my absolute favorite, i only eat it on vacations. i NEED to make this

Same. I live in a small country and I can't buy a tub of mint choco ice cream in the grocery store. My only option is buying on the go in a cone and even then not every restaurant has it.

Made this ice cream yesterday...OMG...it's perfect! Quick, simple, beautiful texture. Thank you so much for sharing! I'm brainstorming different flavours with my kids. One of my kid's has coeliac disease, his favourite flavour used to be Mint chocolate chip, but for some reason all mint ice-cream has wheat products in it. Now he is over the moon, and we can experiment making whatever flavour we want! Awesome!

It's green because Mint is green. I also find that using a whole 14oz can leaves an unpleasant milky film at the roof of your mouth. I only use half a can.

During Christmas there was some melted chocolate left over so I added some mint and spread it out kind of thinly over 2 pieces of parchment paper then I rolled up the parchment paper and put them in the freezer, after an hour or so I put one opened end over a container and crushed it a Lille and it went into my bowl with very little mess and now I’ve got my chocolate pieces ready for this recipe. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you thank you so much Sir I never ever made Ice Cream before I was hoping there was some recipe not requiring an actual ice cream maker, I saw your video first out of 4 that I watched I like yours and the last one the best as both were similar but slightly different, Anyway it was so simple to make I was very skeptical if it was going to be good like you said at the end of your video and OMG wow it was the real deal, now it does taste a little different from what I bought from the store but different in a good way, tastes fresh of course I feel like I ate a totally different brand that I havent had before. I grind real mint leaves in milk and filter it and use, it gives real mint flavour and gives it's own green natural colour and as mint leaves are green, it gets a good natural green colour.

For the forms stiff peaks part... it’s in the name. You need to get a whisk or spoon and make a peak with it. If it’s “stiff” then it’s a stiff peak lol.
