Mint com is Closing - what are we going to do?

I am so disappointed that Mint is going away. I just downloaded my data today and I have been using it since 2011. It is currently a major part of my budgeting system.

I setup monarch and i was able to get it almost one to one with my mint setup. Whew thankful.

being able to just check your transaction and slide the category totals into your template was sheer gold. I used to use Mvelopes basic, until they changed up, then I went to Mint. All the alternatives seem pricey. Since I am retiring, my expenses that I have to track will be much less.

I heard it's still going to be free, but the layout is changing. I'm pretty familiar with both apps and have been using them for years.

I have been using them both as well. I already added my info to credit krama. I just hope that they add the budget features as well. Apparently their main engineer behind MINT left and went to a competitor. I may be wrong but i read it somewhere while doing research to teach my personal finance class on budgeting. Thats probably why they shutting MINT down. Their main brain behind it is no longer there.

I use rocket money for $3.00 a month. It's NOT the same thing! If they raise the price i will cancel it.

there isnt ANY budgeting app that helps for ADHD for sure. now mint is going away

I completely agree with you. Mint has been such a useful tool for tracking expenses. Being able to finely tune every transaction and categorize and sub categorize. Get data from trends. Etc. I'm just really bummed. I did download my files but I did not think to wipe out my data before going over to Karma. I have been a long time user like 2008-2009 ish. If anyone finds an alternative please, please share

You are so wise!!!! Dang, I did not get that Credit Karma was not going to be just another name for Mint. I should NOT have migrated my data. But NOW - How can I UNMERGE my data from Credit Karma???? Warmest regards! Jennie

Yes but if you bank with multiple banks, it can get a little unorganized
