Wow, that dakota is some kind of rough shape. Hope the transmission is better than the exterior. Going to use it in the Customline?

No 😲 the only tranny change fort the Customline would be a 3 speed OD unit. it is actually going in the truck we used to tow the Customline home from Scott's, a 2001 Dodge Dakota. It has the small 4.7 liter V8. The Customline was on the tow dolly for 5000 Km's with zero problems of fears. Our Dakota has been oil sprayed with Krown every year since new and has no rust.
