You got that right. A Chrysler/Plymouth car with little or no rust? A freaking miracle. I had a 1969 Satellite wagon. My first car. After three years in the upper midwest, it started to disintegrate out from under me. I would LOVE to find one this clean.

When I was 16, I bought a 5 year old 1969 383 Road Runner near Chicago for $750. Mine had way more rust damage than yours, even being only a 5 year old car. It was rust rotted through both rear quarters, not unusual for a ‘70’s Midwest based car driven in salt. Your car is looking way better already. Amazing really.

Use to do this myself in the State of Maryland. I used a hot dip, high pressure wash then into another tank for rust removal then back to the hot tank for sealing. Did a ton of cars and parts. Pulled a 1940 Ford out of the woods in Virginia and the fenders looked knew. One of the factory actually wrote their names and the fenders. I have a ton of pictures but don't know how to include them on here. Most difficult car to do were the old 50's TBirds as the bodies wanted to bend.

Sox and Martin, Motown Missile, Dandy Dick Landy, Butch Leal’s Rod Shop Dodge….All the big name teams…Billy the Kid, Billy Bagshaw’s Red Light Bandit….notice where I’m going?
