I think, this remake live adaptation of Voltes 5 together with Maria Clara at Ibarra series are GMA's most expensive budgeted series in their history. Hoping that they will continue to produce these kind of quality shows unlike before. Both of these shows will be aired internationally for a wider audience in the future. MCI is reported to be in Netflix soon while Voltes 5 will also be aired in Japan and maybe other countries as well.

The fact that the GMA live action of Voltes V stayed loyal and true to the OG anime was the big difference compared to other US live actions and adaptations. Their live action changes many things compared to the OG source which actually irk many fans. We are very thankful that GMA stayed loyal to our childhood memories if not made it even better. The nostalgia is so high on this it makes me cry every episode!~

no, the inclusion of GMA (the philippines broadcast network) logo was on point, cause they aired this anime in the 90's and dub it to filipino language for all local pilipino viewers to understand.

The actor will play Dr. Richard Smith in Voltes V Legacy is Albert Martinez. Martinez portrayed as Dr. Jose P. Rizal in the movie Rizal Sa Dapitan. This was Dr. Rizal's exile in Dapitan and met with future wife Josephine Bracken. Hope you gonna watch that too. The Philippine English animated dub version of Dr. Smith in Voltes V was voiced by Filipino actor Joonee Gamboa.

I used to watch the original Voltes V in the 70s so the theme song got stuck in my head. I mostly forgot what the stories were about so when I first saw the live action trailer, I kind of got turned off by some of the CGI and drama. Then I decided to watch the old anime from the beginning and I just realized that the animation and drama was worse hahaha. Now that I see the similarities, I hope the final version of the live action will blow me away. Thanks again for your daily reactions.

Its going to feature the first 2 or so episode in the movies(according to some news). No specific date announced yet but preparations are underway.
