@Zi ann🦋 siguro maka marvel sila. Kasi ang marvel mostly ang live adaptation ay hindi colorful costumes yung ginamit. Hindi siguro sila familiar sa sentai series sa japan na normal lang na colorful ang costumes. At anong problema if power rangers. Ang voltes v ay 70s anime at mahirap talaga e translate ang show into live action, sa japan nga yung ibang adaptation cringey pero madami pa dng tao nanonood. Hindi naman kasi hate yon, sa mga anime fan ang pagbabago ng story pag dagdag ay big issue na hindi maiintidihan ng isang drama or telenovela writer. Yon original story ma minahal ng mga anime fans yon nag hanap nila. I'm 50 yrs old already. And grew up with this best Anime in the 70s. It's fun and exciting to watch it again in a 3d version. The technology brought to nowadays really amazing. No one would imagine how GMA did this. GMA, TV really eversince always brought something amazing Anime and creative live series in their Prime-time in the evening. Glad to know this young lad. TOEI Philippines, is a Japanese company based in Philippines (In Quezon city? not sure, but ofc the main comp is in Japan) but all the animator is filipino but they're not the one who made the CGI of Voltes V. the Filipino makers are in GMA itself, toei's only job is to approve. During the 50s which was the Golden age of the Philippine film industries. They shortly claimed the title as Hollywood of Asia till the Japan film industries surpassed them. Both Japan and the Philippines were the Big Giants in the film industry in Asia despite their rivalry they were the pride of Asia's early film industries. It's sad that both of these are in decline especially the Philippines (Japan was not severely affected by it but it's not as great as it used to be). But after seeing this collaboration by 2 film industries powerhouse this is a great comeback for both of them

Who else sang along at the end, I'm a filipino and honestly I grew up with Voltes V, as a kid my early mornings were filled with me watching Doraemon, Voltes V, Flame of Recca, Ghost Fighter/Yu Yu Hakusho, the original Dragon Ball on GMA, and later in the afternoon around 4:00 pm I'll be watching anime like Samurai X on Channel 23 or was it 24? I forgot since its already such a long time ago, honestly seeing this again really brings back so many fond memories of the past

Akala mo naman sila mga nag effort ng ganyan... This is actually a legendary na all creatives are made by Filipino and its just confirmed and assisted by the Japanese Toie Company... As an anime fan who grew up watching Voltes V, I am not being O.A. but watching their reaction on the adaptation of the anime was superb. It is not as perfect as what Hollywood can do but the production of this series was able to justify the original story. Seeing Japanese individuals reacts positively really makes me happy. Naiiyak ako habang pinapanood silang nagrereact sa video.🥰 For me, One of the best trait of an adaptation is how can they maintain or preserve the original story. Kudos GMA.

Meanwhile, people here should have research first about the show before comparing it to the network's previous show with bad CGI. VFX is no "joke"... Hindi po siya madali o cheap na gawin kagaya nang MCU o Game of Thrones... Yung budget nang Voltes V Legacy is 1 billion pesos o equivalent sa 18 million dollars which is almost the budget of two episodes of the last season of Game of Thrones.
