Just imagine. The warriors of old singing and drinking in the halls of Valhalla hearing this song and saying to each other. If only we had this version back when we were in battle. There would have been no stopping us. Our enemies shaking in there boots hearing our brothers in arms singing this version echoing across the battle field striking fear into there souls knowing that this day would be there last and the brothers that should fall in battle would arrive in the halls of Valhalla as fierce warriors of battle and hardened brothers in arms. Lo, there do I see my father. Lo, there do I see my mother, my sisters and my brothers. Lo, there do I see the line of my people back to the beginning. Lo, they do call to me. They bid me take my place on Asgard in the halls of Valhalla, Where the brave may live forever. Lo, I see here my father and mother. Lo, now I see all my deceased relatives sitting. Lo, there is my master, who is sitting in Paradise. Paradise is so beautiful, so green. With him are his men and boys. He calls to me, so bring me to him.

@@peternaumiuk3808I’m danish. Danes and Swedes has warred against each other more than any other nations. This old enmity has even created law that’s still applicable today. According to this old law any Dane who encounters a Swede crossing the ice to Denmark (the body of water that separates Denmark and Sweden is quite narrow) are allowed to beat them with a stick (or maybe it’s a branch, if a stick is a small thin thing) It would be so funny if that ever happens and the defense attorney tries to use that law to justify stick violence against a Swedish person perpetrated by a Dane 😂

The Vikings also lived on the southern coast of the Baltic Sea on the Polish side. The daughter of Mieszko I Świętosława (Sygryda Storrada, born in 968) was the wife of the Viking king, Eric the Victorious (1 son), and her second husband was Sweyn Forkbeard. By him she had 2 sons, Harald (King of Denmark) and Cnut the Great, one invaded England and the other remained on the throne after his father. The language and runic writing of the Vikings/Etruscans is the Slavic language, the so-called runes Polish researcher, archaeologist Tadeusz Wolański 1785-1865 read inscriptions on Etruscan monuments. After writing the book, he received the protection of the tsar - a battalion of the Russian army (Poland was under partition), who did not leave him any step so that he would not die for reading and translating Etruscan inscriptions.
