Hello again. I'm only getting around to my build now. I'm really thinking about going Mivec and getting the most from it. As my car is a 99 JDM CJ4A Mirage, it already has the correct loom for running the Mivec engine, and I know all of this still works as its running. Im hoping I can just plug in my plastic case ECU into the existing Mivec loom, bolt on the Mivec head to the built 4G93T bottom end and thats that. However, not sure the plastic case ECU can control the Mivec system and it would be stuck on low profile all the time? What ECU are you using, and has your car been mapped yet? Would love to see some dyno charts. Thanks.
@legionelitemotorsports209610 ай бұрын
Hey, how are you? Yes you can definitely use any plastic ECU as long as it’s not 2000 and up and they can pretty much use any wire to activate the.Mivec you would just have to get it re-flashed me personally, I’m using a completely different computer called FuelTech and I haven’t gotten to the plateau of getting the car fired up yet. I actually ran out of money on the bill lol but it will be coming soon.

Hi, I need your help, Can I use the connecting rods and balance shafts from any regular mitsubishi non turbo 2.6 g54b engine to rebuild the 2.6 g54b in my 1988 conquest ? I'm trying to put my engine back together, I purchased my conquest with an incomplete engine. Thank you,
@legionelitemotorsports20963 жыл бұрын
I would definitely eliminate the balance shafts And you would definitely have to use the turbo pistons because the non-turbo pistons are very weak and they will crack but other parts and pieces yes

Hi, great video. Looking for some specs on your build, if you'd like to share that is. I'm building an 1850cc 4G93T, non Mivec. I'll be using the standard 4G93T exhaust manifold and downpipe, just wondering what size you're using? Also what turbo are you using? I'm thinking of GT2860RS. Are you using an F5M42 box with 4.625?
@legionelitemotorsports20962 жыл бұрын
Oh yeah definitely willing to share so my downpipe is 2 1/2 to 3 converted and I’m using a GT 35R turbo ball bearing and I put in a Kazz lsd in the 1.5 trans and the numbers are f5m411
@legionelitemotorsports20962 жыл бұрын
So the gears are slightly longer I would definitely go with a smaller Turbo to get response time where you want it I recommend the G 25 series
@michealkaye8602 жыл бұрын
@@legionelitemotorsports2096 Thanks for sharing. I'll be using GTX2860 Gen2. The GSR engines (4G93T) have fairly mild cams, so I reckon that peak power will come at 6K rpm. This means Mivec gears are far too short.

I have a g54b stock pistons & rods Has a gt35 82r with 3in intercooler & piping msd 6al, for fuel has a 350aem pump -8 feed & aeromotive fpr... how much boost can I run??
@legionelitemotorsports20963 жыл бұрын
Definitely depends on your tune and mainly your ignition timing as long as you don’t get that mission you can run all the way up to 25 to 30 psi but I would highly suggest running E 85 to keep things safe when you go up that high

Yes 100% you can use the 1.8 throttlebody or the 3000 GT throttlebody and you would have to use the 1.8 computer and harness and basically run the car like a 1.8 and hook up the mivec to a switch or a VTEC controller
