I definitely respect her research and the fact that she found something that works for her and her family. I think what people don't realise is, we develop allergies as we age too, and post bodily changes ie pregnancy. A lot of my friends developed gluten allergies post birthing and others actually became gluten tolerance. Some of us became allergic to certain fruits and skincare. Also essential oils are irritants and cause allergic reactions also. Its all relative for sure.

@@sosoh.6213 didn’t know there was poison ivy essential oils? Essential oils are known to be a tad bit better than man made fragrance you can even look it up 🤣 like if you look it up, it literally says “ oils, unlike fragrances do not contain harmful metals, phthalates, or synthetic compounds that have been linked to cancer or other significant health issues” also essential oils have a longer shelflife than regular fragrances :)))
@sosoh.6213
@sosoh.6213 Жыл бұрын
@@Calliemaee ok I have to admit my first response was definitely sardonic but in all seriousness, I am quite literally a biochemistry grad student right now. One of the first things that you learn in undergrad is that whether or not some thing is synthetic plays very little of a role in whether or not some thing is dangerous, and often times, natural chemicals can be more dangerous than some synthetic ones. Most people’s understanding of chemistry is seriously out of wack, and something containing metals or synthetic chemicals is not inherently dangerous. Salt has metal in it. Potassium and iron are metals. Water can be synthesized. The chemicals within poison ivy are natural. Please don’t fall for the fearmongering that people with little to no actual research experience put out.

I never knew her family was soo cool !! I love that. When I was 9 I started working at a natural herbal local store & the owner definitely made me so wise on herbal medicine. Unfortunately my family didn’t grow up believing that stuff & would make fun of me. Especially my grandmother. She would say if McDonald’s was soo bad, people would be dead immediately. And if herbal medicine was soo good, her primary doctor would prescribe it

Just stumbled across this video- really enjoyed Miranda, she seems so humble and sweet and loved listening to her. But the podcasters are a little irritating, the way they spoke about VS- didn’t seem educated when theres a whole doc and so much information about it out there, just seemed like they wanted to hear the “tea” or bashing of the company. Also the girl kind of kissing Mirandas ass was a bit annoying and also asking her exactly what she has eaten and what she will eat- I mean yes, ask those questions but also be more intuitive and respectful? Nonetheless, it was nice to hear Miranda and her experiences.

She had a lot of success from her appearance. Some people are genetically "gifted" but don't try to sell it in a cream. When she said noni juice "normalized" cells when examined under a microscope, which cells were she talking about. Skin cells die after a month, so that couldn't have been it. . .this is purely selling false hope and snake oil.

Actually, a very true fact.. Most Hotels use very harsh detergents that's cause all kinds of rashes & eczema...when any product even in (Cosmetics & Skincare) uses *Fragrance* the FDA does not regulate what can be used under that term. Therefore Companies have pretty much free-range & use anything & everything! Many toxic chemicals are under that *fragrance umbrella* sometimes up to 1,000 different toxic ones...Always best to use ALL products Organic, Vegan, & never animal tested... Read some of your favorite skincare & makeup,fragrance labels nothing but carcinogenic chemicals that are absorbed in the skin & into the bloodstream...So yes her statement is valid..

I'm confused...when Miranda was on Jay Shetty's podcast 11mths ago she was going off about a plant based diet and how she'll taste chicken when she makes it for her husband...so she's no longer plant based?

You believe all the stuff she says in this video about her childhood? She is clearly just branding herself/company like the honest company did. Don’t believe anything anyone says when they are selling something ESPECIALLY celebrities. All these grandma “try this” I call bs. Her own product magically healed her mothers nose- total bs. All these stories are made up for her to market her company. Miranda was born in the 1980’s- this crap wasn’t around then. The only beauty products/ingredients that have been independently tested scientifically proven are trentanoin and L-ascorbic acid. Everything else, even though it might work for you- has never been scientifically independently studied multiple times to be proven benefits to skin.

This interview is terrible! These two can not stop themselves from interrupting Miranda Kerr - it's beyond rude! It's difficult to follow the conversation due to the regular redirection with random questions from the hosts.

The guy is such a bad interviewer. Keep interrupting her and switch topics instead of letting the conversation flows

lol that woman host is constantly talking all over her husband or guy, whatever her relationship is to him. It's so disrespectful. I mean yeah he is always asking dumb af questions but she is constantly interrupting and talking about different things. looool.

How does she get on a treadmill for an hour and do a workout class after 32 oz water and 32 oz celery juice and a smoothie?

I like that she's all about nature, nutrition, simple and humble thigns. But boy, she needs to learn some facts, cause when she said blood type A diet I lost it 😂 (it's been proven to be a myth for like 15 or 20 years already) There's lots of other things that she's oblivious to. For example - lemon in your water doesn't do shit. It makes it taste better, it can also be harmful to your teeth. But it doesn't do any magic. But I guess people will always listen to her cause she's beautiful and she believes in the things she does.

I hate that when the female host is finally able to get her diet & exercise tips pulled out of her (which it seemed she barely wanted to disclose), the male host changes the subject just when that part of the conversation starts to gain momentum. He wants to talk more about her family life and how she grew up when thats all the first 25 minutes of the video is about. Men always have to interject and control the conversation. He really should've sat this one out & let the 2 of them talk, "girl talk." 🙄🙄🙄

In a hospital, that's washed in "God knows what" - please don't complain like this, doctors know what they are doing and how to wash. Often if you remove the reason for eczema, the eczema goes away, which is what Miranda also said. Please read critically and be sceptical towards the sources.

27:39 that routine is impossible to follow on a daily basis if you are a career woman, in an office. I can eat keto some days and veggies and fruit but it's very expensive to keep up with a healthy lifestyle when out and about all day. also it's enough calories for her as she doesn't work a lot like cook, clean and keep up a 40 h job. but if you actually work you need more nutrition to sustain you, not a soup and fish for dinner. I prefer an omelette for breakfast and a bowl of porridge, a LARGE salad for lunch with grains like quinoa and chicken, and dinner is brown rice with brocolli and salmon/chicken/meatballs plus miso soup. This is on a good day, otherwise I'll eat what I can... who has time for the water lemon to kick in when they need to hit the road and travel to the office ?
